Renjith known to malayalam audience as a film maker and script writer is a multi talented personality who had made success in almost all the projects that he helmed. Keeping his foot strong as a script writer and director, Renjith had given a handful of projects which had done wonders in box office. Giving back to back hits including Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha, Pranchiyettan and The Saint, Indian Rupee and Spirit, Renjith is back in driving seat with another venture titled 'Planter Avarachan' with Mohanlal in lead.
Renjith who has touched the soul of malayalam movie industry will handle the major parts of movie including story script, dialogue, production along with direction. Produced by Capitol Theatres, his own production company, the movie will go on floor after the works completion of his current project 'Leela' which features Mammootty and Karthika Nair.

His previous flick Spirit which proved to enthrall the audience had made 100 days of theatrical run and was declared a box office hit. Produced with a budget of 3.5 Crore, the movie managed to collect 8.2 Crore from the theatres.
So expectation would be on the peak as the malayalam movie fans do have strong faith in the credibility of Renjith's screenplay. His script works for the movie Bavuttiyude Namathil directed by G.S Vijayan featuring Mammootty in lead had done the magic which managed to bring positive response from theatres. The movie was a real challenge for the lead actor Mammotty who was struggling with the meager performances of his previous ventures.
So let us hope that "Planter Avarachan" will be a complete entertainer focusing on a theme with firm roots of family drama.
